ENQUIRE ABOUT A CONSULTATION
HOW IT WORKS

A gradual approach to fading ink.

Laser tattoo removal uses targeted pulses of light to break down some tattoo pigment into smaller particles, which the body gradually clears. Because inks, colours, skin types and tattoo depth vary, removal is a process rather than a single appointment.

Some tattoos fade more readily than others. Complete removal cannot be guaranteed, and a consultation helps us discuss what may be achievable for your particular tattoo.

WHAT WE CAN ASSESS

Treatments tailored to your tattoo.

Body Tattoos

For unwanted tattoos on suitable areas of the body, whether your goal is significant fading, removal or preparing for a cover up.

Cosmetic Tattoo Pigment

Assessment of suitable cosmetic tattoo pigment, including previous brow tattooing. Cosmetic inks can respond unpredictably and some pigments may darken when treated, so suitability is especially important.

Fading for a Cover Up

You may not need complete removal. Carefully planned fading can sometimes give your tattoo artist more flexibility with a new design.

YOUR APPOINTMENT

What to expect.

01 · Consultation

We assess your tattoo, pigment and skin, discuss realistic expectations and arrange the required patch test before beginning laser treatment.

02 · Your treatment plan

We discuss the likely need for multiple sessions, with sufficient time between appointments for the skin to recover.

03 · Treatment

Protective eyewear is used and the laser is applied to the agreed area. Sensations vary, and some discomfort is normal.

04 · Aftercare

You will receive advice on keeping the area clean, protecting healing skin and recognising when to seek further help.

RESULTS AND RECOVERY

Patience makes a difference.

Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness and sometimes blistering or crusting can occur. There is also a risk of pigment changes, scarring and incomplete removal. We explain these possibilities during your consultation and tailor the plan to your skin and tattoo.

The number of sessions varies widely depending on ink colour, density, tattoo age, depth and individual response. We will not promise a fixed number of treatments or complete clearance.
